The Integrated Child Development Program of Bodhana aims to provide educational support to underprivileged students by offering a financial aid once a year This initiative is designed to enhance access to quality education and essential learning resources for children from low-income families, empowering them to build a brighter future and promoting overall community growth through holistic child development.

The Sajeevam Anti-Drug Campaign aims to combat substance abuse by raising awareness and promoting healthy lifestyles within the community. Through various outreach programs, workshops, and support services, the campaign educates individuals on the dangers of drug use and the importance of mental well-being

Medicare is a medical assistance project to the people who down trodden. We are providing a monthly medical assistance to both chronic illness and bedridden patients in our operational area irrespective of caste , creed, sex and religion. The initiative aims to reduce the financial burden associated with long-term medical care by ensuring patients have access to critical medications, therapies, and support services.

The acute shortage of drinking water in Kerala is causing a global crisis due to ignorance about water judicious use. To address this, Bodhana promotes rainwater harvesting tanks, back washing of wells, and water filter units. They have developed six types of water filters, each tailored to a specific living condition, including motor, sanitary, homestead, cylindrical, chamber, and immersion filters. These filters aim to provide better drinking water and prevent harmful substances from entering the body.

The Monthly Distribution Program of Dialysis Kits is a humanitarian initiative organized by Bodhana, in collaboration with the Joy Alukkas Foundation, aimed at supporting patients undergoing dialysis treatment. This program is designed to provide essential dialysis kits to patients on a regular basis, ensuring they have access to the necessary medical supplies for their ongoing treatment.

The Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) aims to develop entrepreneurial abilities among the poor through training and support, promoting income-generating programs and providing opportunities for small-scale economic activities like beekeeping, poultry, seed pen making,soap making and mushroom cultivation.

The Ashakiranam project, led by Bodhana, aims to prevent and care for cancer patients by addressing health issues caused by modern lifestyles, unhealthy eating habits, and pollution.

Honey, a natural food and medicine product, is a prime product in Bodhana’s honey research and training center. With over 2000 bee keeping farmers in the area, the department conducts monthly training programs and exhibitions to increase the number of bee farmers and generate income for targeted community members. These programs empower local farmers to start bee keeping and honey production.

The Kolping Project in Bodhana, established in 1990, promotes holistic development through programs like water filters, educational scholarships, and housing schemes, supported by the Kolping Family.

Bodhisree Development Society is a Bodhana venture promoting sustainable farming through training in beekeeping, honey procurement, processing, and marketing. Bodhisree Marketing Network promotes and facilitates the marketing of Bodhana’s products and services, with three shops in the main office. The department assists in entrepreneurship development, buying back, and marketing of commodities produced by Bodhana farmers, supporting new entrepreneurial initiatives.

The Waste Management Program aims to tackle waste disposal issues and promote sustainable practices by reducing waste generation, improving recycling, and implementing effective waste segregation techniques. It raises community awareness and encourages eco-friendly practices like composting and reusing materials.

The Disaster Risk Reduction Programme aims to reduce vulnerabilities and enhance community resilience against natural and man-made disasters through risk assessments, training, awareness campaigns, preparedness strategies, capacity building, and mitigation measures.

The Housing Projects initiative aims to improve living conditions for low-income families by providing safe, affordable homes with basic amenities like clean water, sanitation, and electricity. This initiative promotes family stability, health, well-being, and community belonging, contributing to the social and economic development of the region and uplifting disadvantaged families.

Bodhana runs a  well functioning Agmark bio laboratory which is mainly activates for testing which are water testing, soil testing and honey testing. Mushroom  spaw culture and production of organic manure is done by bio laboratory.

The Tailoring Unit for Women Empowerment is a transformative initiative aimed at providing women with the skills, resources, and opportunities to achieve economic independence and self-reliance. This program focuses on training women in tailoring and garment-making, equipping them with the necessary tools to start their own businesses or secure employment in the textile industry.

Santhwana Hastham is an initiative by Bodhana to help people in need. A food shelf is placed near the private bus stand in Tiruvalla. Every day, food packets are kept on the shelf for hungry and poor people, including local drivers and passers-by. Anyone in need can take the food freely. This small step is helping many people and spreading kindness in our community.

Med hope, an initiative of Bodhana, provided consistent financial support to ten fixed patients throughout the year, ensuring that they were not alone in their ongoing medical journeys. Though the monthly assistance was modest, it offered timely help for essentials such as medicines, follow-up consultations, or travel for treatment lightening the burden faced by patients and their families. Over the course of the year, this steady support made a real difference in their lives, offering not just financial aid but emotional reassurance that someone cares.

Bodhana’s Geriatric Care Training Program, supported by NABARD, was launched with a dual objective: to equip rural youth with employable skills and to address the growing need for quality elderly care. As our society witnesses a steady rise in the elderly population, many seniors are left without adequate care, support, or social recognition. Through this initiative, young men and women from underprivileged rural backgrounds were trained in essential caregiving practices, enabling them to provide respectful, professional support in homes, communities, and care institutions. More than just a livelihood opportunity, the program fostered intergenerational empathy and social responsibility. It represents a meaningful step toward building a compassionate society where the elderly are treated with dignity and the youth find purpose through service.

As part of the Solve Earth Project, we successfully promoted the adoption of clean energy by facilitating the installation of low-cost solar panels in households, ensuring beneficiaries could access all available government subsidies and support schemes. Alongside the installations, our expert team conducted periodic awareness sessions across communities, educating residents on the importance of renewable energy and the long-term environmental and economic benefits of solar power. This initiative not only reduced household energy expenses but also marked a significant step toward building a more sustainable and energy efficient future.
